About Mr.Atticus
Atticus attends Cornell University and studies history and Near Eastern
Studies. He is part of the Cornell Speech and Debate Society, the Cornell International
Affairs Society, the Phi Alpha Delta pre-law fraternity, and writes for the Cornell Daily
Sun (where a piece can be found here). Additionally, he works at the Economics
Department, aiding a graduate student project on the 2022 California Midterm School
Board elections. He is passionate about history, and in his free time enjoys playing
piano, alto saxophone, films, and reading – he’s currently reading “Against Realignment
Theory.”

Led by Cornell University’s Atticus Johnson, this 8-week summer course introduces students to the fundamentals of public speaking, from storytelling to debate, through a blend of lecture and interactive practice. Designed for beginners, the course builds confidence, clarity, and quick-thinking skills in a fun, supportive environment.
